The impact of tides on fishing

1. Tide

The sea water rises from a lower water level to a higher water level, this process is called high tide; the low water level from the higher water level starts to fall, this process is ebb tide. When the water level rises to the highest point, it is called high tide, and when it drops to the lowest point, it is called dry tide or low tide.

As for the difference between the water level of the Manchuria and the dry tide, it is called the tidal range. The full range of the same place also changes periodically, from small to large, and then from large to small. The distance between the highest tide level and the lowest tide level is called the intertidal zone.

2. The impact of tidal phenomena on fishing activities
Although the tide rise and fall are the vertical rise and fall of the sea surface, under the mutual influence of topography, sea breeze, earth rotation, gravity and other factors, it will cause the horizontal movement of sea water. In other words, it causes ocean currents, and ocean currents are an important way for food transportation. When the water flows during the stop-tide phase, the food will not be transported to various places. Fish live in the ocean for a long time and are used to adjusting their work and rest according to the current, so they tend to stop eating automatically during this period of time.

When the tide changes, the direction of the ocean current often changes, which means that the place where the food is transported has also changed, so of course the school of fish will move with it.

The topography of the bottom of the rocky fishing place has changed greatly. Since the direction of the current has been changed, the punctuation is completely different. Therefore, if the angler does not have sufficient knowledge and mastery of the tide, the results will inevitably not be satisfactory.
